A day in the life of...

...the inner rumblings.

sometimes I can't sleep...

who posted? Kristine |

...and tonight its because I chose the comfort of coffee after dinner at my last Family Night. is that silly? potentially. but, comfort is sort of a big deal to me right now, and whether or not coffee should be comfort, is debatable. but today, it was. and, I'm ok with that.

what I'm also ok with is those moments I crawl in my car to go somewhere and Jesus gives me a song that is also comfort. this just happened. on Tuesday at 4:07pm to be exact. ok, so not entirely sure on the minute, but I like 7's, so I'll go with it. God's been giving me a few songs recently, in different ways. one through a friend who knew I needed it...and, another through K-LOVE...

this is the most recent one that I thought I'd share...when the shoe fits, wear it. I'm wearing this shoe.

It's time for healing time to move on
It's time to fix what's been broken too long
Time to make right what has been wrong
It's time to find my way to where I belong
There's a wave that's crashing over me
And all I can do is surrender

(Chorus)
Whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but somehow there's peace
It's hard to surrender to what I can't see
but I'm giving in to something Heavenly

Time for a milestone
Time to begin again
Reevaluate who I really am
Am I doing everything to follow Your will
Or just climbing aimlessly over these hills
So show me what it is You want from me
I give everything I surrender...
To...

(Chorus)

Time to face up
Clean this old house
Time to breathe in and let everything out
That I've wanted to say for so many years
Time to release all my held back tears

Whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but I believe
You're up to something bigger than me
Larger than life something Heavenly

Whatever You're doing inside of me
It feels like chaos but now I can see
This *is* something bigger than me
Larger than life something Heavenly
Something Heavenly

It's time to face up
Clean this old house
Time *to* breathe in and let everything out

Hi Kris
I realize I'm reading this a little late, but I'm glad to find you here. I love the words to this song. I'm going to check back more often.
